t-maxx 3.3 pulsates
Hello all,
Working on a truck and I got it tuned pretty well. Near factory settings and after I throttle it and put on the brakes. The truck kinda pulsates a few times. I checked for cracked/broken clutch. It looks good. I adjusted the idle down. Its still doing it....anything I might have missed. Its probably something stupid im over looking.

It's unlikely that it's tuned right yet if you are still near the factory settings. Of course, local conditions play a big role and it's not impossible that factory settings are close but it is VERY unlikely, especially given the symptoms you describe

Checked the glow plug ?
Air filter clean ?
Clutch spring not damaged ?
The servo isnt twitchy at all is it, the tiniest twitch gives a pulsading effect.
If the HSN is to rich, every now and then the excess fuel thats gargling around in the engine clears out , and you get a second or two of higher idle, basicly thats the engine comming into perfect tune for a second, the LSN can be set perfect and this can still happen.
If you have good smoke when you WOT it, try a very small adjustment on the HSN to lean it a little. Leave the LSN to test.

Sounds like it's runnin rich try leanin it out little by little and get it so that only a little smoke is coming out , but don't lean it out too much.
