Thanks Jake, I have only did one half charged 3s low speed run to check for any drivetrain binding and to set the camber,toe etc etc. The shocks are losi 8ight 2.0 rtr buggy rears all around w/ purple and gray springs. It'll be finished soon then I'll get an idea of how it performs.

This is my Tmaxx, I started building it up, and ran out of money. I jest started a new job yesterday, so i plan on finishing it in the near future

Did you shoe horn a Savage 3 speed into the Maxx or modify the stock maxx tranny?

There is a mod that you can do to the tmaxx tranny to make it a three speed, or there is a company that sells a three speed conversion. Ive beat a couple of savages with my Tmaxx, The next thing I'm going to do with mine is install that picco .26 Red dot engine, Then it will be untouchable:D

I'm pretty sure I invented the 3 speed mod for the stock tranny, thats why I was curious. The aftermarket 3 speed conversion is a joke. It really onlyraises the overall gear ratios of 1st and 2nd gear and only slightly increases top speedwith the means of an external double spur and clutch bell for the 3rd gear. You also have to eliminate the slipper clutch for their conversion and any decentengine will eat it for lunch.

Just wanted to say all your guys rides look awesome. Shame since I've built many 2.5 nitro maxx's over the yrs from stock to BB extended chassis maxx's for which I have no pictures of them.
