TMaxx 1.5 help.

1 Attachment(s)
I just recieved an old TMaxx 1.5 with a 2.5 engine. I haven't run it yet as it was in a thousand pieces and I had to re-build it. I have it about 90% completed but.....

When I push the car forward the spur gear does not turn, is this normal or is there a problem in the centre diff?

Cheers, Brett.

Nice first reply!

It's not the slipper, I have heard that this model has a secondary clutch in the centre diff, is that right?

It is totally normal for the spur not to spin when you push the truck forward due to a one way bearing located on the primary shaft. The black transmission with reverse also has 2 clutches on the forward and reverse gear of the output shaft. There is also a clutch for the 2 speed shift.
