Check Out My Scrap-Wood Built Ghetto Ramp! **PICS**
Well I have off from school this week and my Sure Fire .32 hasnt arrived yet... So I decided to gather some scrap wood in my basement and built myself a ramp! It took me about 3-4 hours(ish) to complete. Believe it or not, the legs are VERY sturdy, they are held on by 2 2.5" screws from the top and 2 2.5" screws from the side.
Measurements: Length - 41.5" Width - 24" Height - 21.5" Total Cost = $0.00 http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b9...5/IMG_0028.jpg http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b9...5/IMG_0029.jpg http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b9...5/IMG_0027.jpg What do you think? :) |

First dowse it w/ gasoline. Then lite it. Jump your truck off (while ramp's on fire) and snap a pic.:D Then post them. haha . Perfect ramps cheap and easy!

I wouldnt be suprised if these pieces of wood have already been doused in gasoline or some other flammable liquid! :D:D That bottom piece of wood is probably older than me!

speaking of glue you should pour some all over that ramp and then through dirt all over(or you could buy some non slip paper from home depot) then you will have even better launches!!!!

ORIGINAL: love those warbirds "so what's this ramp called?" -"it's called the getto blaster." :D:D Oh and I have a spray adhesive (my sister uses it for her dollhouse) so I will spray some of that on the ramp and throw some dirt or something at it in case my tires slip on the wood. |
RE: Check Out My Scrap-Wood Built Ghetto Ramp! **PICS**
I don't think you have to worry too much about your tires slipping on the ramp. Most of your acceleration is going to be before you hit the ramp.

your right ALVINl that is why i said "even better launches" I bought a ramp and it is coated with what looks like sandpaper which is basically sand glued to paper. When you hit the ramp full speed it doesnt matter but if you you don't have much of a runway your going to spin the tires. Also makes back flips easier
