How much has everyone spent??
 

hey guys, i figured id start this thread just to convince us all that there are others out there who have spent their life savings on these machines lol i figure that in all when i look at my orders from tower and ebay for replacement parts and hop ups that ive spent around 1200 dollars on my revo!! i think its crazy but i have a feeling im not the worst off out there. Make me feel better guys lol

ive spent about 2000 total on all my cars and im only 15. and its ALL my money. my parents dont pay for a cent except for my bday and christmas. and ive only been in it for about 6 months

yeah im 15 2 man i know exactly how you feel! i just got a car though and im thinkin im gonna wanna do some stuff to that too so ill be needing $. But ive learned more about engines and all that from the revo than any teacher could ever teach me! my parents really like that lol

well..the revo after tax about 520...minor ugrades
the mt2 has about 500 dollars of work and cost 300
the savage was 420 but it got re-sold
the 4-tec 3.3 was fun for a while until it too got sold..very hard not breaking anything on it--360

Well if you figure in all rc hobbies, probably around $20,000.00 over the last 22 years. Been in rc since I was 12. That includes trucks, planes and helis.

Well hmm, including my step sons 3.3 max and mine, I paid 150.00 towards his but the rest was his, that puts us at 600.00, add 2 shells 60.00, rpm arms 60.00 cvd axal and shafts 75.00, ths pipe 75.00, steering control arms 25.00, 4hump packs 60.00, tools and cleaners 200.00, air brush and compressor 100.00{buddy chiped in). i know we have another 500.00 Just in our rc shop here in my basement but its too much to list throw in 200.00 on things ive forgot or dont want the wife to know about...oh i also just spent 200.00 on a dx3 remote....the list will always build...I think I liked this thread when i started posting and im not really liking it so much anymore,....I think im going to drink koolaid instead of soda to save money...whadda think? lol..

Well... Let's see here:

All together (including what I gave for the truck) about $800 into my T Maxx
$200 into my Mini-Baja
$150 into my Xmods EVO mustang
$250 into my Blade CX-2 Heli (and I just bought that thing last week!!! LOL!:D )

Well, the grand total for me is $1400.00

That's not as bad as I thought it was gunna be.;) If I add in fuel, batteries, chargers, and paint, I guess it would be arround $1600.00 total, still not bad!:D

Ive had my T-maxx for 3 years going on this summer. Ive spent about $300 in just replacement parts and about $400 in upgrades. I also have a Savage which is mostly stock with some minor mods but this baby's gonna have an STS .28 soon!!!!:D[X(][>:]

479.99 + tax, Revo 3.3 have had it 1 month All stock except fuel filter lol have not broke anything but I dont bash to hard maybe I will spend more on it someday but for now its alot of fun.
