I was wondering what Big Block motor to buy for the Revo 3.3 Chassie? Best bang for the buck

if i were u, id go with the PICCO .26 Max. Thats a freakin insane motor right there, ive seen it on a 2.5 chassis and it like pops up every time you hit the throttle. but on a 3.3 chassis it might be better. i would definately go with the picco.

Well, the Pico .26 Maxx is not a true big block. It is what you call a mid block (almost BB power in a small block package).

Well, that a good question....lots of options. What do you want to do with it bash or race? You want a drop-in or a conversion?

There is also the Picco P3 .28 and Axial just came out with the RR series in .28 & .32 and then there is the high end stuff NovaRossi, etc.

the axiel .28 or the .30 is a big motor and its a true bb motor and its got some balls

I've been running Axial .28's for about 8 months now. They are good motors, but i wanted to upgrade to a real powerhouse, so i asked Adam Blevins at ABmods.com which motors he thought were the best big block powerhouses. He said that the Novarossi 528 and the Picco .28 are tied for tops in his mind. Since he makes a living squeezing more power out of engines, i value his opinion and purchased the picco .28 turbo. I'll be breaking it in this weekend and let you know how it goes.

I did that poll, the STS D30M was added later in the poll and had it been added in the beginning it might have won. The engine, matching STS 0702 pipe, and a New Era engine mount come to a total of $212. cheaper than some of the engines mentioned, and then you still have to buy a pipe and mount. it also has ALOT of power.
