Byrons Gen2

I just got a gallon of Byrons Gen2 20% nitro 12% lubrication. This stuff is crazy. I ran a few tanks last sunday and it did great. No retune was need really it was just a little richer acting...a little. I ran about 4 tanks tonight through it and it did great again. It was even more rich acting though. Tonight I noticed my temps were way below what they usually run too so I leaned it a bit on the hsn and it helped. I got my temps around 200 and it was hauling ace and had great response all through out the rpm range. I had great smoke throughout as well. My tanks lasted noticeably longer too. When I got home I read the info on the container and it claims a bunch of crazy great things all wich I just described. Has anyone else run this new Gen2 from Burons and what did you notice. It claims to have a great film strength and better flow like it is thinner or something. It also idled way longer with out temps rising, loading or stalling. This stuff seems like it living up to the dream fuel they claim it is. Oh one other thing, I have run 1.5 gallons of Top Fuel 20%, 1.5 gallons of Rich's brew 20% and 1 gallon of rocket Science 20% so that is what I have to compare it to. I think I like it.:D

Whether you are an experienced Byron customer or you are a first time Byron Fuel user, you are about to experience the largest single and most measurable improvement in car fuels in decades!
Byron Originals has engineered a unique and revolutionary lubrication package that combines a greatly increased flow rate with increased film strengths that enhance performance while increasing lubrication qualities. The new Byron Gen2 lube designs allow greater unloading and expanded power curves through increased flow rates of the same oil percentages — and not by decreasing lubrication. The result: Performance AND engine protection only previously dreamed of.
Increased flow rates and increased film strengths of the Gen2 package produce less heat. Less heat produces a broader and less critical needle setting. Increased flow rates enable leaner needle settings which result in more laps per tank and less pitting for fuel.
Attention current Byron RACE users:
You may find Gen2 will run a little fat at your current needle valve settings. You can expect to set your needle to a slightly leaner setting with Gen2 Fuels.

Leaner operation for substantially GREATER MILEAGE!
Consistently COOLER OPERATION!
EASIER, less elusive TUNING!
ENHANCED FLOWABILITY!
High-Pressure Film Strength leaves engine well lubricated following runs and guarantees LESS ENGINE WEAR than you’d expect from a greasy, high oil content sport fuel!
INDUCTION SEALED BOTTLE eliminates contamination and keeps fuel fresh until you are ready to use it!
Backed by the proven Byron Pledge of Quality and Consistency!

RE: Byrons Gen2

Yep :D i run byrons RACE 2500 Gen2 (25% nitro 11% oil 50/50 with castor and synthetic) and i love it my tanks last long and my t-maxx shoots along. i could only pick from 2 fuel byrons or model technics and from what i hear model technics is rubbish and after using byrons there right. byrons is the best and the fuel doesnt go bad. im after doing break in on my 2nd piston (first one was bad from the time i got it) and during the 5th tank where you go WOT for 5 seconds my truck never exceeded 220F with factory set and even with factory set being so rish my truck flew by, hit second gear in under 3 seconds and kept on going. my truck didnt bog down at all

I found it but it said was 30% on the bottle, but it looked just like your picture KILLA. If it was 20% I wouldve got it. I'll have to look around some more.

the race label looks the same, there is a sticker on the neck of the bottle that will say what % of nitro and % of lube it has in it

It's also a different color than the gen1, which was yellowish. I have ran nothing but Byron Race in my cars and I have not noticed a big difference in the two GENs. I am on my second gallon of GEN2. I do love their fuel though, I have seen buddies have problems that I do not get and I attribute some of that to the fuel!

RE: Byrons Gen2

Mm seems like some great fuel, I'll have to give it a try.

RE: Byrons Gen2

Question on the fuel percentages. If it is 20% nitro and 12% lubrication, what is the other 68% of the fuel? It does sound like a good fuel. I'll have to see if the LHS here can get a gallon of it for me to try.

RE: Byrons Gen2

methanol, the truck runs on methanol the nitro is like a catalyst it speeds up the combustion

so how does it compare to odonells?
Odonells sucks without comparing it to anything, so Byron blows Odonells out of the track

I'm a Byrons Fuel dealer, i guess i should not be posting on this one, but this fully is truely the boss or RC fuels. You can run leaner and cooler than all other with GEN2 !!

Sometimes its hard to really know till you have experienced it for yourself. I know a few things I have tired that really didnt seem like a big deal to most on here, but have made a big difference on my rc trucks.
