Can you work with three views or do you really need plans?

RCFLYBOY,

Here is a set of plans right in your back yard, Airborne Model Magazine has a set, Plan NO 622 for .40 engines.

Here is the page on there plans list showing the model. Go to bottom right to see. If you decide to get them let us know how they look and the type of handling characteristics the model has. Should be in the plans article. I always liked the lines of the Aerostar was thinking of getting a set myself.

casheon,

Did you build your model from the Airborne Magazine plans ? If so, do the plans show retracts ?

Thanks

Stan I drew my own plans from scratch, but some how my sister misplaced the plans. How you started to build yours as yet?

Casheon,

I wanted to order the Airborne Mag plans mentioned above but was waiting for RCFLYBOY to post some pictures of the plans which he did on his build thread

at http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_10664901/tm.htm

Did you find some good 3 views to work with when you drew your own plans ? I could not find a good source for them.

RCFLYBOY is going to build a smaller version of the Aerostar before he does the BIG ONE. I am looking forward to his progress and success.

I am currently working on a RCM plans 1/8 scale Cessna UC78 - see my avaitar.

Thanks for your info and great job on you scratch built Aerostar.
