Looks like your making progress. Standard Diver is around 14" tall x 5" wide. Micro diver would probably be best. He is 9" tall. This is a little off topic. I attached a pic of a L-19 taxiing out that I took the other day. Pic is not so great. He is hangered right down from me.

Check out Sea Commander floats at www.seacommander.com

They make up to 1/3rd scale EDO 1450 round top floats.

here is the aluminum brackets made to fit the horiz stab..since the stab is not removeable after all is complete.didnt make any access plates for access...no need...had to make the 2 small holes on the right for relief of servo screws and the relief cut on the left for the servo

You have gone over height requirement for the FAA. Needs a light on top while under construction.

rudder set in place with the hinge pin in place....set that way to be sure the hinge blocks in the stab set up correctly with the slow setting epoxy...so no warps and everything true

ok found the first little flaw.......the bulkheads aft of f5 witch is the aft fuse, the upper corners are rounded differently.when the stringers were put in they did not line up at all..if i glued stringers in, the fuse would have been very wavy on the top side..the sides and bottom were fine. nice and straight. it was just the top with the issue..not a problem...a little work but an easy fix...will have to fill in the top of bulkheads to match stringers and sand to shape..thats why it is called modeling...also in previous posts the wiring is in the tail for the beacon....yes there is going to be lights on this

ok got the thrust bearings in the mail today.fit very well between the upper and lower clamps and aluminum block that holds the gear in place. not very visible in the pics but they do a nice job. ..so here is the nose gear installed....note that the install of the servo and the steering arm goes across.....that allows for the maxium throw without having to cut relief slots into the bulkheads....simple geometry but effictive....had to put a little thought into the gear steering arm.had to make that from scratch. . made that out of 1/8 aluminum....very light and strong...tested the gear turning and it is very easy to turn....very little load on the servo...access will be from a screw on hatch from the bottom for maintence if needed
