Gee, 101", that's awfully small . If anyone wishes to see my progress, I can still post to this thread. No progress in quite awhile with the warm weather coming out here, and a road trip last weekend, and this weekend again... Hopefully the following weekend!

Gene, ref B25 build: Even if you do not do a full blown build thread, it would be nice if you could post pics.

Has the Otter flown?

Weight and balance is done. 21 oz. in the nose. Lins if you still can, cut open F2 for a weight box. This airplane has 2 each 6 volt "C" size nicads behind the cockpit to give you an idea of weight forward. Airplane is fairly rigged out with the exception of the engine tune and some screws to be painted. Still shooting for next week for maiden if the wind ever dies down.

Thanks Simco, I appreciate that. I'll keep that in mind. I haven't fully sheeted the nose yet, so I should be ok to be able to modify it still.

Hi Gene; Fantastic build on the Twin Otter by a great builder all your hard work paid off in a fine looking plane. Lins you may want to do as Hank and I did on the prototypes and use a scale nose hatch on one side , it let me get the batteries way up into the nose and is a good place to hide the switches and charge plugs with access to the nose strut if needed. I just laid the oversize glass cloth over the sheeted nose protected by plastic wrap, cut the glass to shape use this to mark hatch on nose skin when dry. I left the formers just as they are . Gene please keep up the build threads on all the planes you build as we all can learn from builders like you cheers John

Monday's wx: Partly sunny, with a high near 92. South wind between 10 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

If you want to use GSW, I am a member there also.

Thanks John, that's the plan, to have all the scale openings to give myself as much access as possible.

I wonder if John knows how many of his ships are flying now. I think all airframes should be serialized!
