Default PICA dUELIST 2/40

Can anyone please give me the starting throws for this aircraft? I have one I bought alreadt built and no book or plans to go by.

I don't believe that Pica gave any specific numbers for control surface throws. As I remember it, all they said was to set it up like a pattern plane.

Here is a scan of the last page of the building manual to which Rocketman refers.

Although the manual is otherwise pretty detailed, that's all there is about throws.

I have mine set up in dual rates:

Sunday flying: Ailerons-1/4", Elevator-3/8", Rudder 3"

Aerobatics: A-1/2", E-3/4", R-3"

Ailerons and elevator on +50% expo for the low rates.

Rudder always on max throw, no expo, 'cause that's what saves your butt if you lose an engine.

Thanks guys, I appreciate your time and effort. I will dial the aileron, and elevator to your starting points and set dual rates up. Not my first twin bt My first fast twin. If the wind ever quits blowing I wil get a flight in and give a report back.
