I tried the link on "obscure and hard to find model making sources" and access is denied. What's up?????? If this is a private forum........then what the heck is a private forum???? And why is access being denied to a registered member.......and what is "insufficient credential" supposed to mean????? This is the first time I have encountered this. This looks like a "come on and a tease" to put out some supposedly helpful forum and then turn down people who try to access it??????? Looks to me more like a "trick" rather than a "sticky". Some moderator should look into it???? No????

Second, I don't think you should expect old links to be current.
Third, lighten up. Ask nicely, maybe someone will have a more current link to something similar.
Good luck,

Scar,
Isn't it more useful to delete/remove dead threads to dead links rather than keeping it posted.........kind of a house clutter that needs some housekeeping. After all if it is a "sticky" and described as useful source of info for obsolete and hard to find model items.......people will try to open it because you just never know what useful info you might end up finding/discovering.

Larry,
Point taken. I just scan new posts, rather than going straight to forums, so I didn't pick up on the fact that this is a sticky thread.
If I had noticed, I might have gone to the "Forum Questions" forum, and reported the outdated post.
Right now I think I'll hit OK to post this reply, then I'll report my post (see the link at the bottom) and a moderater will look at the thread and inactive link - and probably change the "sticky" status.
Best wishes,
Dave Olson
