Default futaba FP-7UAF SUPER

does anyone own one of these. I bought one for 100 it works fine but whats alarming is the large portion of the antenna unlocks and slides all the way down the case. when pulled up it locks into place. most radios ive seen had a screw in antenna on a lug. this is held on with a socket bolt. the antenna clicks into place and the radio works fine

Tim,

Why do you see this as a problem?

The 7 also unscrews and there is a hole to store it in the side plate.

I just looked at one that I never use, so I am not very familiar with it. There is no set screw visiable. The antenna just slides up and down, but seems a little loose.
