A few years ago there was a guy on here selling a really nice scale twin, I THINK it was an AERO COMMANDER, if not it looked really similar to it. Anyone know whos plane that was or if there are still pictures of it around?

$10,000! That must have been a really nice Commander! Do you remember what brand it was? The only large ones I am aware of are the Palmer Plans Shrike which has a 117" wingspan and is all built up balsa, and the Modair Shrike which has a 140" wingspan and has a fiberglass fuselage and foam core wings.

simhatus,
Looks like you have the old Ken Holden designed Shrike Commander from 1976. It was kitted by Ace for a number of years and was designed around the Ace foam wing core. Original power was (2) .049/.051 and 3-channel. Plans for the design are still available from [link=http://www.rcmmagazine.com/store/store-plans-catalog-tem.html?item=plans:PL-640&sid=00018SD1IGsWpJgrOE8m815]RCM plans service[/link].
