Hello
A few shots of my friends Fokker D 12 , he made everything on the model himself even the plans to built it from. It used to have OS fourstroke engines but is now powered with electrical motors, great flier and a very fine model. My wife took the photos with her new Canon camera.

Hi seen this forum and thought i'd share some pictures of my ASM C-130 that i modified and modeled after the full size C-130E 64-0504. Also some of you might have seen my C-130 in the AMA magizine and videos on Youtube.

With the OS 25FXs i have on this airplane i get about 8 minutes of flight time before i come in for landing. i has 6 oz tanks and at full throttle they run about 13 minutes . So 8 minutes give me ample time for a good flight.

Thought I would add some pictures of my 90 inch, Chris Golds Lancaster, built from plans.
Powered by 4, OS .25 FX engines, great plane to fly and looks awsome in the air.

Heres my latest:
All foam 4-motored EDF
Flies on a single 4S 5300 liPo.
About 50" or so.
Even has the cargo door to toss out poop-a-troopers!
I added a top hatch for battery access because the stock way is to go throught the nose gear aera. CHEESY!
I also took the gear off because we fly off of grass, so I just faired over the landing gear wells, added a tow hook at the nose gear location, and away we went! She bungee launches perfectly from the grass every time.
Beautiful and fairly fast in the air - for a big ol porker!
Enjoy!

Nice! How did you build up the Saberliner engine nacelles? Looks great.
Regarding the full scale MU-2, I still remember fueling those things years ago. You could only partially fill a tip tank as the plane would tip over if you filled it all the way. So it was back and forth between the tip tanks until they were full. Pilots liked to fly them, but said you had to be on top of it.

Thx guys!
MU-2 video
sabreliner video
I have a build thread on each on Rcgroups under the scratchbuilding section
short version is the nacelles were hot wired then carved and sanded to shape, then glassed. Easy and quick!

Beautiful work on both the Saber and the MU-2!!! Ive done lots of inspections on both of the full scale versions, so its a joy to see how well you presented these replicas. Awesome!!!

The MU-2 was a basic model with fixed gear and no flaps to see if we could make it fly. Now we want to enlarge it, add retracts and try full span flaps and spoilers. I think we can get it to work!
The Sabre was yet another airplane I haven’t seen done before and flies pretty well. It’s the 65 model because it was a fan engine and had no slats...that would be a real challenge to get working. The 80mm power setup is fairly inexpensive and really works. It makes possible a whole range of bizjets we haven’t seen in model form.
By the way, these are blue foam with a single layer of light glass to keep them light.
