Well I've finished off my latest project. If she flies well then it will transfered to floats for the upcomming float fly weekend......

It started life as a World Models worldstar 40. I cut and shut 2x OS46LA onto the wings, should make for some fun..

RE: Worldstar 40 Twin Trainer

It flew really well,

We got it tuned so both motors so they were as close as possible at full throttle and at idle. Taxied out and sent her down the strip takeoff run was alittle longer than normal then she rotated and climbed away nicely. A few circuits to trim it out, then into so full noise low passes and loops and rolls. The sound is way cool. I had 12x4 props on it so forward speed was not that impressive. I will change to 11x6 and see how that goes. Landing was just like any other trainer. On the second flight the left motor stopped on finals and it only needed a touch of rudder to correct the slight yaw. It looks great in the air and did turn a few heads on the ground. Great for those time you just want to fang around..

Here's what video I have of the Twin Trainer
