There is only one good one! The Twin Air from NE Aerodynamics. http://ne-aero.com/ I finished mine a month or so ago, had "Flyfalcons" test fly it a couple times for me. Flys smooth and easy. Had an engine out at about 2/3 throttle. The only way you would know it was by the sound. After a few more flights on my single trainer I'm going to give it a go. The kit cost $155.00 shipped. The instructions are a little vague for the less experienced builder, but John Marien at NE was super about getting back to me with answers to my dumb questions. I built it straight with no changes. Even copied his color scheme. John recommends .45s but I went with a couple of used OS .40 FPs I picked up on ebay. Ample power for a trainer. Should I get bored with this, my Duellist 2-40 should be finished. After that, I'll start on my Duellist 2-60. Here's a pic. |

I checked it out Crash, I did notice something I`d like to ask you about I saw a 3 bladed prop on yours and the one at ne-aero has a two bladed prop on it, What is the significance of that?

Nothing special, just preference. With 3 blades, you get more ground clearance which helps a little on grass. Besides I think they look better. Those are 9x6s.

I think they look better too, Thanks again

Weren't you a country singer at one time? Haw. Glad you're happy with the TA-45. I have 40FPs on mine also. And as you can probably guess, three bladed props. Bill. |

Tree Top,
I have a Hobbico Twinstar that's almost ready to cover, 2 40 size enignes (one still NIB). Yours for $325 shipped. I have a new set of B&D pneumatic 3 gear retracts to really set your twin apart for an extra $50.00. Let me know. Thanks. *rcnats* |

Well I did a little kit bashing. I took a Tower Voyager and converted it to a twin and so far it is looking pretty good. I'm using two OS 26 four strokers on mine and I think it will handle them just fine. I also used two GWS micro servos for the throttles. Don't realy need a standard servo for the throttle plus it helps on the weight. I also have an A-26-B (converted to a bomber) with TT40s on it and it flys like scale except for the take offs it litterly jumps off the ground. So I figured that it needed an extra inch extension on the nose wheel should help it out quite a bit.
