Smile RC Hovercraft college project

Hi guys,

Had built this hovercraft with my team as a part of a mini project in college.

would love to hear your opinions on it and also, how can it be improved.

Looks pretty cool.

I would suggest trying to make an intake lip for the lift fan; it will drastically improve airflow. You could also attempt to make a centrifugal lift fan. They're a lot of work to get right, but they are significantly more efficient and quieter.

Have a look at my hovercraft in these videos for some inspiration.

Props used are 6040's, though I'm considering backing down to 6030's because that draws 11.5 amps on this motor at full throttle and I'm running 12 amp ESC's so when I hear it stuttering I know I have a problem
