Default Pterodactyl plans

Has anyone ever built a Pterodactyl or know where I could get plans for one? Preferably I would like a Pteranodon but I am not fussy.

Thanks

Ho Ha found it again ( new computer lost a lot of stuff) ---www.randmodelaircraft.com has several flying Dinosaurs shown
I think I'll have to fly better first, those things will make the worst scale plane fly like a trainer I bet

Brad, A plan for the 88" span Pteranodon by Stephen Winkworth is available from [link=http://www.modelflying.co.uk/pages/index.cgi]http://www.modelflying.co.uk/pages/index.cgi[/link]. Click the link on the left side for Model shop and in the search box enter Pteranodon.

I've got one but I haven't built it yet. I'm considering cutting the wings from foam and then glassing the surface rather than go for the built up wood finish, as I suspect this would be more rugged for slope use.

Regards

i would love to find plans for any kind of flying rc dino! i have loved dinos since i can remember and been into rc since i was appx 16, so the only natural thing is to put the 2 together! i have looked and looked, so far the best "kits" seem to be "Marston" but i enjoy the feeling of taking a flat piece of depron and a few hundred xacto blades and band-aids of corse and making it fly! please help me get to some plans someone!! Thanx all

I have a very nice Pteranodon IV plan I can e-mail you back. Send me an e-mail at [email protected] and remind me of what you want.

Hi guys

Many years ago, Flair Products made a few GRP fuselages for Stephen Winkworth's Pteranodon. I have one of them. I think they were only a test run, and never saw production. Certainly I've never seen or heard of them mentioned anywhere.

Unfortunately my health is failing and I've had to drop out of the R/C scene. Inever did get around to building the Pteranodon, and now Inever will. If anybody can give this fuselage/body a new home (and might actually build the thing), it's on eBay now.

There was an RC glider version flown in the movie "wargames".....EK logitrol radio running
purple and white on the old 72 system.

You might have to backtrack from there to find it.
