i agree the chains aren't that durable, if you could get some small rubber belts and pulleys rigged up to work, then it would be endless. there is a guy on fleebay that has lots of chains and tracks i saw one day. i have one also but don't want to jeaperdize breaking it but if i had a spare like my buddy i'd go for it!!! got a 28 big block on my shelf dying to go into something.

Belts and pulleys would probably be a disaster waiting, with all the snow and ice build up. I wouldn't go there personally. I'm plenty fast on the 4600 bl.

RE: LB Getting Ready for SNOW - Kyosho EP Blizzard DF-300 Thread!
I know that this thread is supposed to be about the EP Blizzard, but I would like to ask a couple of questions to any of the guys who read this thread and run the nitro version:
I've read the thread from start to finish over the last few days trying to pick up hints and tips and I remember someone mentioned that someone they knew was going to attempt to fit a .21 to their Blizzard. I'm just wondering if the clutch, gearbox, diffs and drive chains could cope with the torque of a bigger block? I have been looking to fit a 2nd new engine; my Blizzard currently has a Kyosho one-touch starter GS15 fitted, but it is now almost at the end of its life and I'm looking at both the GXR15 and GXR18 as an option to upgrade. The mounts for the Blizzard engine kind of limit the upgrade choices so I only really have these two options. Do you guys think that I should stick with another .15 or go for the .18? I'm led to believe that the engine blocks are identical so it should be a drop-in fit, but if anyone has tried upgrading and found that .18's don't fit, please could you let me know before I waste my money? Thanks!
Also, how easy is it to post pictures up on here? I have a Photobucket account but this is different to the forums I've used before. I've made a few changes to my Blizzard; 3 channel conversion to seperate throttle and gearbox control, an aluminium chassis, aluminium top deck and also I've hinged and body posted the cab so it locks down rather than using Velcro to hold it on. The top deck looks a bit bare so I'd appreciate any ideas on what else I can fit to it!
