Ok so I need some help with controlling my kayak trolling motor with a 2.4ghz rc transmitter. I have figured out the turning my problem is choosing an esc for the thrust. The motor is 12v brushed 30a max running off a 12v full size deep cycle agm battery. The esc will need to be bidirectional for reverse. I know I'll need a BEC as well to step down voltage to 6v for the turning servo so having a built in one would be nice. I can't seem to find ones that does more than 12v as my battery is about 13v fully charged. Any help for the rc experts would be great as I'm kind of new to all this and any suggestions to improve system.
