Default E-flite P-47D Thunderbolt with AS3X Unboxing, Review, and Build

This video is the complete Unboxing, Review, Build, and Maiden Flight for the new E-flite P-47 Thunderbolt BNF Basic with AS3X Technology. This is pretty much the Republic P-47 Thunderbolt version of the E-flite P-51 Mustang Dallas Doll that so many in the RC community have been excited about since its release last Fall. That one was modeled after one of the most famous WWII Warbirds in history, the North American P-51 Mustang.

Here are my review notes:

Cons:

- I had to replace the motor before I could fly it
- The hatch design is a step backward from the Dallas Doll Mustang
- The velcro that secures the battery ripped before the first flight

Pros:

- It has a beautiful finish
- Very easy build and radio set-up in my Spektrum DX6
- Retracts and flaps installed
- Its wide stance helps make landings easier

awesome mate, but why have you put this in 5 different sub forums ARF or RTF, RC scale aircraft, Warbirds and Warplanes, backyard flyers and this one don't you think one is enough.

I had to give you something to do on your Saturday morning and to provide you with an opportunity to show off your hall monitoring skills.

In all seriousness, it fits all of those categories, therefore it made sense to post it in those places.
