Hi, I just bought a new Nexstar select with the .46 fxi and i have a problem. It idles awesome but when you give it full or 3/4 throttle it cuts out and dies. I have only ran about one tank through it and it hasn't even left the ground yet. All the settings on the carb are factory. Any help will be appreciated. P.s. Are props on brand new planes supposed to just fall off?? Didn't think so.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I would also not trust that prop to be balanced. Every prop I've ever bought in the last 40 years needed some balancing work.

If the engine .46fxi justs dies you need to richen up the low speed screw or the hi speed or both. If the engine stumbles up to speed and dies or keeps going you are too rich and need to lean motor out. Turn low or hi speed clockwise to lean out and counter clockwise to fatten up or richen the mixture.
