I order a Walkera 37 from RC & Me. a couple of days ago. Found out is was local to me in El Paso, TX. and emailed them to see if I could pick it up and they said yes. Tim who wrote me back said that they carry all the replacement parts for this heli and Walkera's whole line here in Texas. So if you need a part or the whole heli look him up at www.rcandme.com.

Hello. GENERAL FYI 450 Hybrid

Here's another alternative for you pilots that will be ready to fly something a bit more advanced.

This is a basicly a TREX but with a Hybrid frame (soon to be a official, but can't comment on the
manufacturer yet) . Most of the parts purchased from online XMSeller.

I build this custom model and its ready to fly. It has a Ar6000 Speltrum reviever, Walkera g007 gyro with
a JR Digital Servo, Sonix 3800 motor and Hobbiewing 30A ESC. All metal option. whats cool about this frame
is that it " incases" the battery. This is unit is very stable and will make an excellent copter for beginner
and intermediate, without making a big hole in your pocket.

You can build one yourself, but if you don't know how to customize you will find, flying
them a real issue. Without the electronic you can get the kit for around 260 -275.. with the electronics,
you looking at around 525.00. Already built, aligned and tested to fly with a 2200 15C battery,
and all electronics with reciever but no remote (spektrum of course), you looking around 645.00 included
is the data for DX6 programming and DX7 programming. Just bind the reciever , enter the data (including trim settings too),
your done. You will have Idle, Idle1* and Hold (throttle safety cut-off) . *Idle1 is stunt mode (inverted flying, etc.)

I will post a video of the unit flying and will begin to take orders in one week. Please msg me if intrested.

Hey man,,, how you doing...

The glitch was caused by the ESC>.. its a speed controller glitch.

Thats what I get for using a cheap ESC. I will buy an Align ESC today and re-TEST it.

I have bought 3 of those Hobbywings ESc, many cool features, but 2 of 3 went bad on me..

after using them with a 15c 2200 lipo, they are too delicate..The Align ESc, you can throw anything

at it, and it always works great.

Yea, I said earlier... I'm building these guys for those who want them. I have to build 2 more.
and I have all the parts except for some ESCs unit im waiting for....it sems the align's escs in my
area are depleted...... but I'm trying out others.

It's a very good unit. and very stable ...well after I build it and align it.
The Walkera Gyro g007 is very good with the JR Digital servo for the rudder,
the most expensive piece of electronics is the Jr digital Servo and I would not
user anything else for a unit like this. The Gyro is very cheap and works just
as good as G401 from futaba. And the Servos are not the best but cheap
enough to keep the pricing down. And I like using these.. since when you crash
they give way ( hence plastic) and prevents other components of the head to
get damaged that's worth alot more. Plus I throw in a AR6000 Spektrum reciever, batt.,
already built and adjusted. How can anyone say no to that deal? Specially
if it cost around 600 bucks? and you pick up a Dx6 on ebay for less than 120.00.

That makes the total 720.00 aprox. You go to a store around here, expect to pay
1289.00 !!!! for the entire kit! plus 200 to have it built in case you can't do it.

That look like a good deal.. heli look good.. that it seems to be stable. Have not tried using the JR digital servo but if its good with the G007 gyro that a good deal.. the G007 goes for around $40.. comapaired to a $113 Gy401.. but does it hold that good? or drift.. the only problem I am encountering with the G007 is the dirft.. it does have it at times and there are times its clean...

Remarlably, no drift issues. very very stable flight, fast rudder response. I'll make another video before
I pack it up. Showing the rudder control.

The sensitivity is a 50%. AVCS mode on. All I did was make a mecanical center on the rudder system,
and on the remote I have set to 50% and I subtrim it to -5.. to adjust the direction of the tail fall back position.
That's it. It just as good as the Gy401. The G007 has a swtich for Digital servos, I set that, and the pot
settings to 100% on the extend, hence that is controlled by the remote.. and POT for the speed is set to maximun.

Hi guys nice thread,

firstly I am new to the whole RC Heli thing, I'm looking to purchase my first Heli and am tossing up between the Walkera 36X model and the 37 Plus (I believe these are custom 36 and 37 models)

Could anyone give me some input as which is the better value model (links below)

I have got myself a sim (AeroFly Pro Deluxe) and have put a few hours into that and can now hover and I know i will have to do much before I take one out into the real world.

Walkera Dragonfly 36X
http://www.rctoysaustralia.com/index...emart&Itemid=1

Walkera Dragonfly 37 Plus
http://www.rctoysaustralia.com/index...emart&Itemid=1

Any help is much appreciated.

I intend to buy alot of spare parts, and some nicer carbon fibre blades.

Thanks in advance.
