Default Dual Rate gyro on Walkera 36 problems

This week have taken to a Zoom 400 piezo dual rate gyro and a FUTABA 6EXH radio - but with the bad english in the gyro packaging and me being new in the game I just cannot set the heli up without it looking like an egg-beater on the lawn. Any suggestions? How do I centre the servos if I cannot get the thing in the air to ensure that the servo's are properly centred? All mixing is off - but still the little heli just goes and spins in any directions it seems fit. I am at wits end.

Default RE: Dual Rate gyro on Walkera 36 problems

I read somewhere in this forum about people having this king of problem and the solution was the orientation of the gyro. I think it has to be mounted as shown in this picture. I don't own one myself, so I can not say for sure. Hope this helps.
