Hello all,
I recently got a Walkera 1#B 2.4ghz version.
opened it all up, practiced on the ground a bit, got a few inches of the ground, crashed. broke a ball linkage, crashed again, broke a tail strut.
Anyway, i went to use it again and the main blades will not spin. the tail rotor spins fine.
I got out the multimeter and there is 8v going to the main motor. a constant 8v even when i accelerate? is that right?
could the motor be dead? why would this happen so soon?

If your motor is spinning, then the pinion probably got bumped away from the main gear.
Otherwise you could have a loose wire, or the radio could be in a safety mode. Make sure you have the throttle all the way down and are not starting in the idle up or (stunt mode) or whatever they call it.

no the motor does not spin at all.
all wires seem to be in order.
radio controller is in normal modes, throttle is down etc.
do they come with any warrenty?

If you crashed it, i seriously doubt you would get a warranty back on it. You could try ordering another main motor, their only about $12 and you'll probably need another one as a spare anyway in the future.

yea thats what i figured.
i ordered a new motor, since i have the 2.4ghz version, and most places only has the old motor i needed the gear aswell.
lol, i couple more spare parts and i should have just brought 2 helipcopters.

Sorry, didn't read the part about new motor vs old motor. You could buy the old motor and old main gear...
