I would just get either the D or the Madhawk 300 from xheli. They are right in California.

I almost pulled the trigger on the creata 400...$279 ant jaghobbies...but I think to advanced for me the controller looks like it can control the space shuttle!! haha!!

That would be way over your head and I did some research it does not seem to be that good of a heli anyway with out dumping money into it.

You need to RESEARCH on the forums before you buy any helicopter. Anyone who is buying one should do that. You can never do enough research, and learning.

Jeez... you have some reading, and research to do. Lipo's are very dangerous if not handled correctly and safely.

I would stick to charging one battery at a time.

Just read within [link=http://www.helipal.com/multi-charge-cable-jst-plug.html]your link[/link] - it gives a guide to setting up your charger - "Connection Example - GE B6 Li-Po Charger, output set to 1A for 3.7V 1200mah batteries (1.5A for [multiple] 7.4V batteries)" The Walkera 180D has a two-cell (7.4V) lipo.......[sm=wink_smile.gif]

Does the Thunder AC6 smart charger come with all the necessary cables? - the linked charger (GE Power B6 Li-Po Charger) comes with a T-join male to JST male for joining the circuit. You have to do all the research...........

P.S. It is possible, but what do you need another charger for? I have multiple wall adapters and chargers that wa in the box with each model plugged around my places of work (as well as home) - some are Esky & some are Walkera - they all charge at 0.8A

I figured it out by a process of elimination - the only nuts in the kit fitted eight suspects - but only two counter-sunk machine screws (with no tapering) THEY ARE THE ONES! Thanks for your help - I'm back in the sky now and loving it![sm=devious.gif]

Depends, if air mail not to long, a week. But typically at least 14-18 days.

To damn long, that is why I always buy from USA if possable, and shipping will be cheaper then china also.

I either buy my parts from Xheli.com. (shipping for parts is only like 4.00 from California) or I buy a good aount of stuff (DD kit, batteries, etc..) from RTF-Heli.com
I also use Ebay alot depending on the deals I can get But I like going through RTF-heli.com, and xheli if I can not get what I need from RTF-heli.com. With RTF-heli e-mail Dane (owner) if you are looking for something that is CB180D related not on the site and he may have it. Eventually he plans on being a full one stop shopping for the CB180D/Q and Madhawk 300. I bought aa new main motor from him he did not have listed.

Where has GTX gone?

I have tried most of the Super-skids products now - and think they are all very good quality! Ok, to start i have the cb180d also. i no more than got 50 feet away and my tail either stopped or went full speed causing it to go out of control. seriously 50 feet range? is their a better rx out their maybe? im runnin the 2402 tx.

blades.. stock are well POS. so the esky big lama blades are identical in size? i did some research and they seem to be different. does this cause any issues?

the heli seems real durable its just the blades are total crap.

but the heli is super stable

Correct the stock blades are like glass.

The "B" blades on the BIG lama work and fit pertfecty, one of the best upgrades for this little heli.

Get spare tail blades they break easy as well, or go with DD kit.

As for as range yup, there is a problem. My fix (have not tested yet due to weather) a bushed motor creates a magnetic field with causes the Rx to act funny, and the Rx is to close to the motor, move the rx towards the front of the heli as far as you can and then cut a piece of cardboard (cerial box) and tape it to the Rx so it creates a wall between the motor and the Rx. That should fix the range issue. I have not tested for sure yet, but I think it will solve it.

thanks for the quick reply, i will have to mess with this mod later on. i have had this heli since the begginning of winter and never went over 25 feet away. i finally had the guts to take it out and then this happened.

I also removed over 45g's of un needed weight on the heli also. More could be removed if a person wanted to, the lighter this bird is, the better it will fly and handle, also less stress on the motors.

Also turn your extent to max on the Rx. It will add more cyclic movement to the bird.

With some times and small mods it can start to performa like a true FP heli.

No, no problems, I just like to make things better This is the way it is with anything. There is a "base" then you spend time making it better look better, perform better, wheather it be a heli, plane, or car.

You will see my first real flight, I could only fly tail in, then watch the other one I made yesterday. I am boat loads better, but still learning, plus I fly aggressive LOL harder then this heli likes to be flown. But oh well

Read most of this thread many say the motors do not last some saying they only last a few flights. I understand about up grades but looking for a very reliable well set up FP helicopter out of the box. I want something to teach my grandson on. I have 9 helicopters at the moment. I am all so considering the ESky HB FP. Thanks

ive probly got 20 flights on mine with no issues. buy some good main blades and a few tail blades (tails are extremely brittle)

maybe pick up an extra tail motor as thats the one they say goes out.



but this heli is a extremely good one to learn on.


the range thing i didnt know about i had just fle around my yard then decided the other day to take her up and out a bit then the tail started spinning and it landed in a tree hehe. luckily their is a foot of snow to cushion the fall. didnt hurt a thang.


good luck on training him. should be a piece of cake. grab the one with the wk-2402 as its a sweet rx
