Creata 400 Servo ?

Ijust purchased a used 400 , I have not gotten it off the ground yet but have fired it up with training gear. With the motor unwired I was checking the servos because the previous owner said he could not fly it. I noticed the tail servo does not return to center position when you let go of the stick. It can be moved by moving the stick though. Is this a setting in the radio or a bad servo ? It does not appear to be a trim problem.

RE: Creata 400 Servo ?

Mr Smiley,

I do not have the Creata 400 but I think I know what's up. My Walkera 180Z has a gyro and I believe yours does too. This causes the tail to stay as you directed it until you center it. If you fire it up, less motor, move the rudder stick, and then turn the heli around, you should see the servo react. It will be trying to hold the same heading as originaly input by you. Give it a try.

Good LuckJeff
