Hello Scot,

Do your have the 36 which has the black plastic main and tail rotor parts, or the 36#B blue CNC metal parts?

Some points to check
i) Tail boom is it dead stright?
ii) tail rotor-shaft bearings may be worn-out, is there any free-play?
iii)check the belt tention.

Do you have a manual?

Try getting rid of the tension roller on the tail. That thing gives problems some time and it will work fine without it.

Babyhuey,<div></div><div>The roller is there to ensure maximum engagement of the synchromesh belt. This is a ubiquitous engineering principle, even among RC helicopter manufactures.</div><div></div><div>So, if this wheel is problematic, then remove it and inspect the bearing, clean and oil, better still replace with new alloy roller and bearing.</div><div></div><div>Modification:</div><div>Replacing the alloy roller and bearing, with two MF52zz 2x5x2.5mm flanged radial bearing, the flanges keep the belt central on the tail rotor synchromesh pinion.</div><div>
