Mode1 to Mode2 conversion

I am a newbie and bought a Walkera 052 heli while I was visiting Hong Kong last week. The heli came with Mode 1 TX and I did not aware of what I was getting. After studying what people prefer in the States and play around my friend Mode 2 heli, I think Mode 2 is the way to go as it is easier to learn. Has anyone tried to convert TX from Mode1 to Mode 2 before and please let me know how easy to do it.

Thanks in advance.

Just open the transmitter and move the spring mechanism and the friction mechanism from one side to the other. Then switch the cables between the vertical pots.

A bit fiddly, but pretty easy and straightforward.

OOPPS is right it is not that hard. I had to do it to a zoom 400 I had 2 years ago.

While your at it throw the friction/ratchet mechanism away that will make life easier as well. The notches never seem to be in the right place for a hover.

What Tx is that? If the 6ch Tx then it's easy like what oops describe.
If it's the 7ch (701) Tx, then it's damn troublesome. PCB blocks, potientiometer to resolder etc...Not easy.
