converting 22e to brushless

I have an eagle50/22e and have ordered the brushless upgrade from walkera-parts. The upgrade includes the brushless motor and the ESC. Since this upgrade is made for the 22e I am hoping that it is plug and play -will it be? Will I need anything else. I've heard of needing brushless adapters or Y connectors. What exactly will I need to do to make this brushless -thanks

RE: converting 22e to brushless

If you use the Walkera radio and have the BL motor and esc, plug in the esc to channel slot #4 in the 4in1, wire the power leads of the esc and the 4in1 together and fly. You may have to readjust the gyro limit/delay and the PIT/PZT knobs in the Tx.

wire the power leads of the esc and the 4in1 together and fly
Does that mean that I need some sort of Y connector to split power between the receiver and the ESC?

You will need this. Ihave gotten it from Tower-Hobbies. Take a look at http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXLZA6&P=OW Some people also make them by theirselves, but I have preferred to put this one on my Venom Night Ranger 3D
