Default Tank Hobby Radio / Transmitter Ideas, Tips, Tricks

This thread is dedicated to using a hobby radio/transmitter for RC tanks and sharing ideas, tips and tricks to improve performance or promote ease of use.

For example:
I am using a Hitec Aurora 9 for my Tamiya Super Sherman and a stock 27mhz radio for my HL Walker Bulldog. The Aurora 9 enables me to change to Mode 3 and thus the stick movements match for both my Tamiya Sherman and the HL Bulldog.

Very easy on the A9 to change Modes to go back to RC planes.

If any of you tankers are using Spektrum, Futaba or other transmitters with switches or sliders please share your tips with us.
