Default T-23

A new tank, show here for the first time, is being tested at General Motors and will soon be in the hands of our fighting troops. The tank, called T-23 is a new design, powered by a Ford V-8 engine and served by a five man crew. The tank carries a new, powerful high velocity 76mm gun that will knock out any Nazi tank. Shown here is one of the fourth production models during operational testing.
Watch out Tigers and Panthers, the T-23 will soon be hunting you.

That's a GM civilian test empoyee...hence civvie jacket and no helmet. I still have to locate a proper size gun and make a tow cable for the back. Been contemplating getting the driver's hatch open and putting him in it..tanks in testing weren't driven around
with hatches closed. It was an on the moment decision to make it....had some spare Sherman parts and a cheap M-26 off Ebay. Was not easy swapping suspension, but it turned out OK.
