Is there a particular scale you are looking for? There was a 1/35 or 1/32 scale jeep available awhile back that was R/C. BTW, what brand and scale is the one pictured on your Jeep?

RE: RC Willys Jeep?

any scale would be good, but the biger, the better! 1/8 would be nice. the toy I have I got from wall-mart and dont know what scale it is. it is made by M M toys if that helps. it is 3 1/8" long and a rell jeep it 132" long I think that is 1/42?

You might try this link, http://www.flyingmule.com/products/DM-65501
I don't know how good they are but it's not a bad price and looks pretty good.

that is cool, I could drive it on the hood of my real jeep at car shows. I was looking for some thing biger. The one I saw on you tube was 1/6 I think because he had the 12" G.I. Jos's in it.

RE: RC Willys Jeep?

a 'crawler' forum might be more helpful. they could recommend kits to use for the drive train then you could probably find a large 1/10 or so body and mount it to it.

No one actualy makes an RC jeep though you could build one using either the 21st Century jeep which has basic detail or you could use the highly detailed Dragon jeep both are pre built and would require disassembly and the appropriate downer RC car parts, I have built x3, 1/6 Kubelwagen's which where a lot of work but not impossible

RE: RC Willys Jeep?

i have used the Dragon jeep body on a self made bended aluminium frame,RC Channels axles;gear boxes both from rc4wd,
leafe springs from 1:8 trucks;wheels include tires from the static SOTW jeep(THE DRAGON TIRES ARE VERY BAD IN FORM)
with alu adaptors.
i wait in this time for soft tires and aluminium rims.
7,2 V
Truck Puller2 motor

Jeepfriend did one heck of a job on his jeep. I followed his build on Sixth Army Group(SAG) forum. As said any of the large scale jeeps will be pricey.Several are listed here on ebay they start out cheap but as they get closer to ending the prices go up as people bid on them http://shop.ebay.com/items/__1-6-jee...Q_sopZ1QQ_scZ1

and they are not rc

oh sorry the Dragon Jeep is the same size 1:6 scale
but much much more quality.

your 21st century Jeep is not bad but in detail last century.

Hey guys, I am looking for a stock 1/6 scale flat fender willys that is ready to go. I have always loved the military mb Willys since before Desert Rats. I am WWII fighter airplane nut and have a 1/6 scale rc yellow aircraft P-38. I thought it would be cool to use the jeep in the same scale to tow the P-38 down to my flying field. If you go to rcgroups yellow aircraft rebirth and conversion towards the last third of the thread you will see the plane being built by a friend of mine in Connecticut. Anyway, I'm all ears
