RE: info wanted
Hey there,
Tricky wording of that sales blurb - the body can turn 360º (like all RC tanks), but not the turret: typically only 300-330degrees - not full rotation. The tanks are a good starting point IF you have mods planned, out of the box they are very toy-behaving with only 1 speed (go) forward and back, jerky response and abrupt movement. To fit a "real radio" requires full gutting of the tank's electronics... personally I would just chuck a Heng Long S&S kit in it (Smoke and Sound) for way better control and added features.... cheap too (when compared to other methods). You end up with a decent running tank that goes where you want |
RE: info wanted
those hobby engine tanks have elastic band tracks to. they can throw easily apparently. do some searches on the forums here to look up past projects.

RE: info wanted
Unfortunately, they are just toys , not models. They have no suspension and do poorly on unlevel terrain as they have NO suspension system. If you want fun and cheap try a 1/16 Heng Long tank. They will actually be cheaper in the long run (excuse the pun). They shoot airsoft BBs and are available (for extra cost..naturally) with a sound and smoke system. They allow up to 9 tanks to battle simultaneously. Caution these tanks are very, very addictive!!!
