Why German Armor RULES !
 

:) This was forwarded to me the other night and I thought I'd "share"... :)

TOP TEN REASONS WHY WWII GERMAN ARMOR IS SO POPULAR.

1. Intimidating Names. Compare the sound of "Panther!" or "Tiger!" to the sound of "...Matilda!!".

2. Intimidating Lines. Face it the Sherman has the silhouette of a duck, and the T-34 looks like the turret is about to slide down that front glacis.

3. Ballsy Crews. All kinds of kit-supplied and "aftermarket" figures and NOI ONE bothers wearing a helmet!!

4. No "unditching lumber", extra fuel tanks, ration crates, or piles of miscellaneous stowage to interfere with reason #2.

5. Attractive mixes of "Earth Tones" beat boring "all-over Green" (or "White", or "Ochre")..

6. Crosses are easier to render than 5 pointed stars or scrawled slogans.

7. "Visuals" are usually accompanied by sturring music that doesn't evoke Cavalry parades or cartwheeling accordionists.

8. Endless "Variations" in some Ausfs, specific to month, day, maybe even hour!

9. Comes in two flavors .."SuperStrong" and :"Regular"..

10. It's just plain fun saying "Schmalturm"!
