Multiplex users

Calling anyone who uses Weatronic with Multiplex Profi or Evo Tx. I need volunteers to do a simple test. Both my Profi 4000 Tx have the same fault with Weatronic, and numbers provided to me by Weatronic and Multiplex predict exactly the fault I am getting, but Weatronic won't listen and just keeps telling me my transmitter must be faulty. I contend there is a flaw in the Weatronic software which affects all brands of Tx, it is just more obvious with Multiplex because of their longer pulses at the default setting. I need people to try a simple test and see what happens so that either we can prove I am right and we can go to Wea and make them listen, or prove me wrong and start to work out why two of my tx do the same thing!
I should stress that the alleged fault has no implication for flight safety or the integrity of the system.

So, are there any Multiplex/Wea users?

The test will also work with JR or Futaba Tx, they just need different % travels to be used, which are above the normal 100% travel. If any JR or Futaba users would like to also try the test, very easy and takes only a few minutes, I would be most grateful as it would help to prove or disprove the problem.

Harry,
I set my EVO to PPM9 and used a Airtronics digital, Airtronics analog and Hitec digital servos for the test. On the servo assignment page I set the servo type to UNI. With this setting the servos would move all the way to 110 degrees. However when the servo assignment was changed to MPX, the servo movement was as you experienced. Hope this helps you.

RE: Multiplex users

Harry, I decided to try the test again to make sure that I had done it correctly. This time for some reason I decided to go through all the programing pages and found that on the "Control" page I had reduced the servo travel to 73%. When I increased it to 100% and repeated the test I found the same thing you did. The stick had no effect beyond 93% travel.
