Default RE: Difference in Extra's

On the full scale Extras, the 300 is 26" 3" wingspan, the Extra 260 is 24' 9", a difference of 18". The Extra 300 is a two place aircraft, the 260 is a single place.

Both are in the mid-wing configuration and are otherwise almost identical.

There is no such thing as an Extra 330, not really. Extra has had a series of low wing planes (300S and 300L), one guy had a 330hp engine installed in his 300S and the world started calling it a 330, but in reality it was just a one-time custom and was never type-certified.

From a modeling perspective, the 260 has a shorter canopy than the 300. That's it. I have seen people write that one flies SOOO much better than the other, which is total nonsense, it's the same plane.
