Default 35% Extra 300 w/ DA 85

Hey guys...here are some pics of my completed 35% Extra 300. As stated in the title..I am running a DA85, 5955's all around with a power safe 9100 for the receiver and A123's for power. I am splitting the power from one of the A123's to power the ignition too and have not had any problems. I have 8 flights on her and she is not hurting for power. So far the PT Models 26-8 is my favorite prop...I tried a vess 26A and it just did not seem to have the pull ouot of a hover. I do have a new Mejzlek 27-8 to drill and hopefully try here in the next week or two.

Here is a link to a couple of videos. The first one ids of the maiden..nothing too exciting.

THis one is from the following weekend. THe first flight is using the Vess 26A and the 2nd flight is back to the PT Model 26-8.

Still keeping it up up off the deck a bit...love the way this things flies...cannot wait to get some more airtime on her. THis was also a Quick Build version..it went together great..had a couple of issues that Tom quickly took care. I cannot say enough about the customer support from Wild Hare.

Blue Skies,
Howie

Very nice. Whats the weight of the plane; if its light enough i would suggest a 27x10th from mezjlick?

the 27x10TH is very loud, but great for 3D. I've found the standard 27x10 mejzlik to work very well with much less noise.
