30cc Edge and Extra

I'm looking at purchasing a 30cc airframe. A friend flies the orange Extra 260 but I would like to get the 540. Looking at the pictures they look like the same plane with different color schemes.

Are they?

No, you have it backwards.

The Extra and Edge are different planes with the same color scheme.

They are quite similar, but they differ in the wing, cowl, canopy, landing gear and rudder.

The main difference is the Edge 540 has a straight leading edge on the wing, where the Extra has a slightly swept leading edge. The other differences are mostly cosmetic.
