50CC Giles Canopy
 

Looking for a replacement canopy for the WH 50 CC Giles, or ideas how to fix mine. The clear plastic canopy has slight divot in the top from sitting uncovered in the hot North Carolina sun. Not noticeable from the ground when the plane is in the air, but will only get worse this summer in the sun. Any help?

I do have a few spares, you can contact me by email at [email protected]. But keep in mind the canopy was attached to the hatch at the factory and removing the old one and replacing it may be quite a project. If there's any way you can live with the old one I recommend that you do that.

What color is it? I may have a complete spare hatch available.

It is the yellow and blue version, Tom. Upon delivery of the plane, a few years ago, the canopy/hatch assembly was freight damaged. You were kind enough to replace that unit for me. I did try the replacement of just the plastic canopy at that time, but was unable to replace just the plastic canopy with my building skills. You are right on the thought of the work involved to do that replacement!! I am really looking for the complete hatch/canopy unit in the yellow color scheme.
