28% Edge 540T
 

Hi Guys:

Has anybody ever flown this aircraft with a ZDZ40? I have just recently purchased the Edge second hand and have an extra ZDZ40 laying around. I am currently flying a 16.5 Lb. DP Extra 330L with a ZDZ 40 and it is awesome. I was wondering if this engine would work well in the Edge airframe? Any response would be appreciated.

It'll fly it ok, but may come up a bit short for 3D.

I'm not a 3D Flier anyway, so that's OK. What about for IMAC?

You'll come in kind of light, so it should be fine. Balance it with a starting point of 5-1/4" with the possibility of moving bck to 5-1/2". Leave yourself an easy provision for that type of move.
