Kevin,

I have some unusable rings that you could salvage a needle from..pm me your mailing info and I'll send you one.

Kevin,
You could also use .5mm Hypodermic needles ( 25G ). This is the size that was first used in the Homebuilt MW54. I had a hard time keeping them from pluging. I went to .6mm Hypodermic needles (23G1) and had no problem. But you have to keep them all the same. Mike the diameter of the needle to see what size is in your fuel ring.

Ron, manifold arrived today, first class service there. the ring you sent me looks to be in better conditon than the one that was installed, I will do the light test tomorrow and see how they burn, if all even, I will just swap out the feed line that is damaged, I think this would be easier than trying to solder one of the needles anyway.

my thanks Kevin

Kevin,

Best way to splice is to use a brass pipe with larger ID and splice the 2 pipes in the middle. Assemble the chamber on to the diffuser and then make the solder joint.

Good luck,
Ron

after some considerable effort, I have 9 of twelve sticks burning ok. is it possible to just get a replacement manifold? the unusable on you sent me fits perfect, just have not been able to get all the sticks burning, these are some seriously small tubes.

I used a strand of wire from a control cable (bowden cable) in the needle if you find by measuring, it goes in the full way, and still seems blocked, try squeezing the fuel ring at the bottom of the needle so it ovals it slightly and so giving more clearance to the bottom of the needle.
Worked for me.
