BlueRay upgrades??

Andy (and all)... Have really been enjoying my BlueRay 450 this summer. Lots of flights and no real issues. I would however like to either get the gyro working better as I typically have to hold in some right rudder to keep it from yawing slightly to the left. I keep adjusting it as it works for a while then have to adjust again. Is there another gyro that you recommend that would provide more heading hold performance? Also, same for the servos, is there a drop in upgrade servo? Thanks in advance!

RE: BlueRay upgrades??

Hello JB-Heli
I also have a BlueRay and had no problems other then the one's from a few screwups, me not the heli!
As for having to hold some right rudder in I found I had to clean the tail slider and add a drop of oil.
Also cleaned the swash plate and also add a drop of oil on the main shaft, it was like it was sticking.
Not 100% sure if that's the correct thing to do but it has worked for me.
And the BlueRay is one great heli>>>>>>>>> I bet I have more then 50 to 75+ flights.

RE: BlueRay upgrades??

the gy48V is a good replacement gyro on our website. To get rock solid hold you must upgrade the tail servo to a better one such as this: http://www.hobbypartz.com/dmdise.html
