Default fz 63s mounting

Hi,
I'm back to mounting my 63s in a funtana 40s and it looks like it would be easier to mount it side ways.

Is there any problem with this, I am new to YS and want this to go well. I can mount it vertical , but the cowl would be an issue. Its one of those things , I can do it but it will be harder.

thanks

YS's can be mounted in any position.....providing you have the "Fuel/System" operating correctly....

this is a new engine and needs to be set, will it be harder with the engine on its side.

If so I will mount it upright this time anyway. I could run it with out the cowl and then turn the engine after its running properly.

+1 chances are the engine will run great without tweaking it to much , just run it a little rich for a few tanks . If the throttle response isn't instant adjust the regulator in very small increments until it traditions quick. The nice thing about YS engines is once set you almost never have to touch it .

No worry's mounting it on its side , the funtana will love it.

I am going to mount it on the side and leave the cowl off for a few tanks.
