Hello,
I just purchased a used YS F-1.20. I'm looking for an electronic version of the user manual. I haven't been able to find one on the Internet for this model. Does anybody have an electronic copy of this manual, or know where I could find one?
Thank you,
MI

Nothing available electronically for the old 120. Do you know which 120 you have? All of the YS 120's are marked F120, so that isn't enough to go on. Is there a part number on the box it came in?
I can send you a hard copy of the manual you need when we determine what version you require.

Dave,
Thank you. I'm expecting the motor early next week, and I'm a little leary now, because it sounds like I may be getting an antiquated version... However, when I receive, we'll identify it, and go from there. Thanks for your help.

You will need to contact YS Parts and Service for a manual and for stickers. I don't work for them. I'm just managing the forum for YS. Contact Richard Verano
www.yspartsandservice.com
If you need parts for your engine then Central hobbies Website has a detailed exploded view of the parts for every 4 stroke engine.
www.centralhobbies.com
Also the instructions to setup the engines is basically the same. The old engines don't have the the air bleed screw or idle mixture adjustment. You use the regulator screw to adjust both the idle and the midrange.
You can use the hook up diagrams from the 140Sport or the 110FZ from the YS Parts and Service page. Or Central Hobbies has a diagram to hook up standard FZ style (pressurized systems). The manual for operation is basically the same as the 140Sport just the idle adjustment screw is not there you use the regulator adjustment. Props 14-12 to about a 16-8 is using 30% nitro on the larger props. Use 20% oil minimum and no Castor. Many companies make a YS 20-20 blend this is 20% nitro and 20% oil.
Another site that has extensive information is the Pro Build website in England

Hi Dave
I realize this is many years after your post, but I also am in need of a manual for an old YS F120.
I own 2ea, the second one being a little newer. It might be a YS 120FZ Anyway both over 25 years old.
I have the manual for the second one. It has a low end adjustment screw, but the earlier one does not.
Its rich on the low end.
The second on has never seen fuel. Too bad I didn't have any boxes.
Thank You
Gary
