The pic attached is what came with my engine. I just bought a new crankshaft and it does n't have the brass liner/insert. Does anyone know which is the improved design? with or without the brass liner/insert? reference p/n YSE 5425

Also, the front bearing was metal shield and now is the rubber seal.

The 110S has a different crank than the 110FZ

The 110S part Number should be 5425

110FZ is p/n 4320

It is possible the wrong part was in the bag..meaning it was mis-labeled

It was 5425. and labeled for 110S. So, the brass liner is for the 110S. That's funny because the 110S diagram in the manual does not show the brass liner.

I will try to call Richard on Monday. Is this the same number as on the yspartsandservice website?

Like I said likely a 110FZ crank in the package of a 110S. Thus a mislabeled part.

I don't know for sure I have not had my 110S Apart. I know the crank changed. That is all I know.

Its a 110s crankshaft no doubt about it. Its got the web seal on it. Its now rubber seals for the front end.

I called Richard and he said to send the new crankshaft to him and he will replace it if it's not for 110S. Richard said front bearing have rubber shield now.
