Thanks Shlomo.

You should always use a double jam nut assembly on 4 stroke engines. This is what shipped with your YS engine and there is a reason it should be used. The engine can backfire and throw the prop. The double Jam nut assemblies keep this from happening.

You need a washer in there. The idea is not to use 3 nuts.....its to just use 2. The adpater nut is to allow your spinner to be tightened with its center bolt.

Use one of the YS prop nuts and the then the adapter nut as the jam nut.

This way you have two prop nits holding the prop on.

A better solution than what you purchased is the Tru-turn. They sell a double jam nut system that fits the YS engines. This is what I use on mine.

Hi Troy,
I know that it may look silly.. ( see attached file ) but i didn't find any better option to use the dave brown adaptor, do you see any other alternative ? ( of course your recomendation about the tru turn adaptor is much better solution, but there is no seller for that product here, and ordering from abroad will take two weeks)

Thanks
Shlomo.

remove the Dave Brown washer and it should work fine for you. Just run the two nuts together.
