Valve Cover Paint

The original YS valve covers on older engines is anodized. However on the newer valve covers the finish is powder coated.
I don't kow when the chnage was made at the YS factory. Any paint you put on the valve cover will have to stand upt ot the heat, and glow fuel. Beyond that I would personally say DO NOT get paint on the inside of the cover. Raw fuel resides int he valve cover area and will eat almost any paint. Combine this with the heat generated and the inside of the valve cover could peal. You don't want little bits and lfakes of paint getting into the inside while its running. It could damage the engine.
