Yes its pretty close to about 30degs back from 90...or another way to look at it is 60degs out from crankshaft. This is not an exact number but I just held up a 30-60-90 triangle and its close....

Yes I did the same. I nearly bought a 75 deg. elbow from Performance Specialties because they told me the exhaust port angle was 15 deg. This would have still pointed me into the rear airbox. They have some adjustable elbows that may work as they don't seem to manufacture a 60 deg. one. Would anyone know where I could find a 60 deg. elbow with a male to female thread @ 13mmx1? Drew

The 120 thru 170 engines are about a 10-15deg offset But the 91 and 110 are more.

So Performance Specialties was correct for YS engines.

Dave Shadel was partners with Richard Verano in YS performance for 7-8years so he knows what he is doing. The 110 is a angled a little more though.

Don't know if this site will be of any use, they will also manufacture to your own spec.

Good site....

unfortunately the guy is in Utah, USA and not the UK. Not that something can't be ordered via the web or even a phone call. But Gardnerville, Nevada is much easier to contact than overseas.

I'm going to bookmark the site. Often I get questions from folks in Europe regarding their engines and where to get mufflers or parts. This is good info to have. Thanks

Thanks Troy. Didn't mean to sound like Performance Specialties was not on the ball. They've been super nice and helpful so far. I realize that an adjustable header would probably work, but I'm concerned about the adjustable angle part vibrating loose. You know how these ys's are! If anyone knows if that 75 deg elbow will pass the airbox on a ys 1.10 please let me know. Thanks, Drew
